Welcome to Pace Flow ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. Pace Flow is an offline-first application — we operate no developer servers and do not collect your budgeting data. Your budgeting data is stored on your device.

Some optional features require an internet connection, including in-app purchases via Apple StoreKit, opening external links, reverse geocoding for currency suggestion, and exchange-rate updates from a third-party exchange-rate provider. This website also uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic.

2. 数据使用

Pace Flow does not collect, transmit, or store your budgeting data on developer servers. Transaction records, budgets, wallets, notes, and amounts stay on your device. Here's how the app uses data:

Approximate Location (Optional)

  • Purpose: Detect your local currency when adding transactions
  • How it works: Used once in real-time, then immediately discarded
  • Storage: Not stored by us
  • Network: Apple may process location for reverse geocoding to determine your region; we do not send it to our servers (we have none)
  • Control: You can enable or disable this in Settings anytime

Exchange Rate Requests

  • Purpose: Keep currency conversion rates current
  • How it works: The app may request exchange rates from a third-party exchange-rate provider
  • Data sent: Currency codes required for the rate request, such as base CNY and supported quote currencies
  • Data not sent: Your transactions, budgets, wallet names, notes, amounts, or account data
  • Fallback: If the request fails, Pace Flow uses locally cached or built-in exchange rates

Website Analytics

  • Purpose: Understand aggregate traffic and usage of this website
  • Provider: Google Analytics
  • Data sent: Standard website analytics signals, such as page views, browser/device information, approximate location, and referral information
  • Data not sent: Your transactions, budgets, wallet names, notes, amounts, or account data
  • Control: You can use browser settings, content blockers, or Google's analytics opt-out tools to limit analytics

Transaction Records

  • Purpose: Store your expense and income records
  • Storage: Stored 100% locally on your device using Apple's secure frameworks
  • Network: NEVER uploaded anywhere — we have no servers to upload to
  • Control: Delete the app to permanently remove all data

3. 我们不收集的信息

We want to be clear about what we do not collect:

  • No account registration or login required
  • No email addresses or personal identifiers
  • No credit card numbers or payment details
  • No in-app usage analytics or budgeting activity tracking
  • No budgeting data shared with third parties
  • No cloud sync or server uploads
  • No internet connection required for core budgeting features

4. 应用内购买

Pace Flow offers optional in-app purchases (subscriptions and lifetime access). All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or billing address. For information about how Apple handles your payment data, please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy.

5. 本地存储与安全

All your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure data storage frameworks (SwiftData). Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features, including Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode protection.

Because Pace Flow has no developer servers, we do not receive your budgeting data. Optional Apple services (for example, StoreKit purchases or reverse geocoding) may make network connections to Apple. Exchange-rate updates may make network connections to a third-party exchange-rate provider. Website visits may make network connections to Google Analytics. These requests do not include your budgeting data, but the service provider and its infrastructure may process standard network information needed to serve the request, such as IP address, request time, and request metadata.

6. 数据删除

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

  • To delete all data: Simply delete the Pace Flow app from your device
  • To delete specific records: Use the app's built-in delete function

We do not retain any copies of your data, so once deleted from your device, it is permanently gone.

7. 儿童隐私

Pace Flow does not collect any personal information from any users, including children. Since the app does not require accounts or collect personal data, it is safe for users of all ages.

8. 政策变更

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
